These insect repellent wrist bands have a concentrated 90% deet mosquito repellent in them combined with a natural scent of citronella. It provides a continuous protective halo for up to 14 nights protection. Four bands supplied in each pack. By using a micro encapsulated design they release a deet vapour without allowing it to absorb into your skin thus giving high protection to people with sensitive skin. They are elasticated meaning one size fits all.

Are wrist bands as effective as a repellent spray?

We would always recommend using the wrist bands in addition to a good repellent spray/roll on. Although these wrist bands contain a high concentration of deet, they won't necessarily stop insects landing on you like a spray/roll on would!

Are they suitable for children?

Yes, but only for children aged 3 years and over.

I'm pregnant, is this product safe for me to use?

The insect repellent wrist bands are completely safe for pregnant women and have been fully tested. The chemicals in them are micro encapsulated and there is no absorption in to the skin!

Are the wrist bands still effective if unopened and unused for a year?

The bands will be fine if unopened and unused for a year. They will be less effective as they are used and the smell of DEET deteriorates.
