This maximum 95% deet strength insect repellent from Lifeventure is designed for ues in high risk areas where mosquitoes and other biting insects can be a real problem. This repellent will deter mosquitoes, midges, horseflies, sandflies, gnats, fleas, ticks and other biting insects.

It can also be used to impregnate cotton and wool clothing as well as caps, socks, bedding and mosquito nets. Supplied in a sturdy aluminium 50 or 100ml bottle.

How much repellent would you recommend for a week trip?

We generally advise 60ml per person per week. However this can vary depending on whether the insects are out all day and how much skin you will have showing! It's always best to have more than you need as in some destinations it can be difficult to purchase good quality insect repellent.

Can I apply this repellent to my face?

Yes this can be applied to your face but be careful not to get in your eyes or mouth. It's best to spray some on the back of your hand and then wipe onto your face.

Will this repellent repel Mites?

Yes, Lifesystems 100 will repel a number of different insects, including mites.
